Not that it really matters too much, but it has been dispatched last Thursday and still didn't arrive. Grrrrr. Maybe moving to a small village on the country wasn't a good idea after all - it would have already arrived in Vienna. Just kidding ...
You know that you've been on the road for too long when ....
... you check out the hotel's video on demand system and notice that you've already seen all of the movies during your previous eight weeks on the road. (No, not exactly all of them - but that's not what I've been looking for)
I guess it's time to return back home. Four more days to go.
I've been to Redmond earlier this year around June. The weather was just great and I started to wonder about all these rumors regarding the constantly bad weather in this area. When I went back to the airport at that time, I could even see as far as Mt. Rainier and the cab driver explained to me that this only happens once in a fortnight - if at all. I considered myself lucky at this time.
Well ... until today. I'm here in Redmond once again, and the weather was - again - just wonderful. And yes, I could see Mt. Rainier, too. Is this bad-weather-rumor at all true? Couldn't it just be that this rumor exists purely to keep us mere mortals away from interrupting with their work? ;-)
The definite advantage was that I could take a nice walk in the sunshine during the infamous ten minutes it takes the Longhorn installation to detect my virtual hardware. It finished roughly three hours later.
